Origin of the Fiber

Let's start by stating that polyester is not a natural material but synthetic..It is produced by the polycondensation of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. These components are also used to produce plastic, for example, for bottles and films. However, you don't need to panic and throw away clothing made from polyester fibers right away, as this fabric has a whole range of positive properties.

Fabrics made from polyester threads or yarns are widely used in the clothing industry and household products - from shirts and trousers to jackets and hats, as well as sheets, blankets, upholstery, or mouse pads. Industrial polyester fibers, yarns, and ropes are used to reinforce tires, conveyor belts, and safety belts. Polyester fibers are used as cushioning and thermal insulation material in pillows, blankets, padding, etc.
