Principle No. 6

When washing in a washing machine, follow the recommended laundry load and fill the drum only 50% full.
This ensures gentle washing, easy rinsing, and spinning.Principle No. 8
It is recommended to dry the bedding immediately after washing.
When drying colored bedding in direct sunlight, turn it inside out.Principle No. 9
Iron the bedding while it is still slightly damp.
Iron embroidered products from the reverse side.WASHING. For the first wash of new cotton bedding, it is recommended to choose hand washing in cold water. Subsequently, white cotton fabrics are washed at a temperature of 90 to 95°C, and if necessary, a bleaching agent is added. Wash colored cotton fabrics at a temperature of 40°C (such a temperature is sufficient to destroy bacteria in the laundry), without bleaching agents and separately from white linens. Cotton fabrics are not recommended to be washed together with synthetic products: cotton loses its softness. Synthetic fibers catch on natural fibers and lift them.
DRYING. Use the dryer only for items that have the appropriate symbol on their label. In other cases, the bedding is dried hanging outside in a shaded area because light has a negative effect on cotton.
IRONING. Cotton is usually ironed while damp or not fully dried from the right side. If there are embroideries on the fabric, iron on the reverse side. The exception is crepe fabrics, which do not require ironing.
WASHING. Linen can be boiled. Wash colored linen fabrics at 60°C, impregnated ones at 40°C, use a gentle cycle. Wash white or bleached bedding with a universal cleaning agent. For unbleached and colored canvas, use a gentle fabric cleaner without bleaching agents.
RECOMMENDATION. To ensure linen bedding is well washed, it is necessary to soap it beforehand and leave it in a warm bath for an hour. Then add a small amount of laundry detergent and one tablespoon of vinegar to the water, wash, rinse in clean cold water, and dry quickly.
DRYING. Do not tumble dry linen bedding. It can collide.
IRONING. Linen can be ironed at a very high temperature. However, the fabric must always be sprinkled. The best way to iron linen bedding is while it is slightly damp.
Due to the delicacy of silk, use dry cleaning services.
WASHING. Colored fabrics can only be washed by hand using special detergents at a maximum temperature of 30°C, on a short washing program. Before washing, it is advisable to check if the fabric bleeds color. Silk fabric bedding should not be roughly crumpled, wrung out, or brushed. Silk must be rinsed well: first in warm, then in cold water.
RECOMMENDATION. Before the end of washing, add a small amount of vinegar to the water to brighten the color (1 teaspoon per 3 liters of water).
DRYING. Silk cannot be dried in a dryer, in direct sunlight, or near a heater.
IRONING. Silk bedding should be ironed on the reverse side while damp with a slightly heated iron without steaming. Silk should not be sprayed with water, otherwise stains may appear.
WASHING. The recommended washing temperature is 60°C and lower. Synthetic substances cannot be brewed. Do not use detergents with bleaching additives when washing.
DRYING AND IRONING.
It is not recommended to iron and dry on a hot radiator (the drying temperature is a maximum of 50°C).Warning! If you purchase quality bedding and wash it according to the instructions on the packaging, the bedding will serve you well for several decades!
